We are a group of people passionate about constructions, communities and blockchain.
We have the know-how, experience, network and drive to bring a fresh approach to the Romanian real estate market.
Eng. Adrian VASILESCU
FounderAdrian is a structural engineer and has 14 years of entrepreneurship in the field. He co-founded and runs Cross Design, a structural engineering company with a team of 14 specialists and a portfolio of 207 clients in Romania, Germany and Switzerland. At Build21, Adrian is responsible for the strategic direction of the business and its development.
Raluca NEGREA
FounderIn her 20 years in management and marketing, Raluca has founded and led a series of communication and technology companies. Raluca holds an Executive MBA from Maastricht School of Management and has experience in working with investors. At Build21, Raluca is in charge of marketing, communication and technology resource management.
Archt. Irina MELIȚĂ
AdvisorIrina is vice-president of the Romanian Order of Architects, Bucharest branch, and has 15 years of experience in the field. She founded and runs The Poster, an architecture practice that develops both commercial and academic projects. Irina has a Master`s degree in Integrated Urban Development at the University of Architecture and Urbanism "Ion Mincu" in Bucharest.
Eng. Horia MIHNEA
AdvisorHoria is a construction engineer, certified verifier, technical expert and restoration specialist. He co-founded Cross Design with Adrian Vasilescu, developed technical solutions for over 550 projects and led the design of 2,000,000 m². Among the leading projects in his portfolio are Marmorosch Blank, Eliade 9 (both in Romania) and Leysin American School (Switzerland).
Dr. Lect. Archt. Ștefan SIMION
AdvisorȘtefan teaches the Basics of Architectural Design at the University of Architecture and Urbanism "Ion Mincu" in Bucharest and is co-founder, together with Irina Meliță, of The Poster. He was curator of the Romanian pavilion at the 2021 Venice Biennale and has taught as a visiting professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland), Pratt Institute New York and Politecnica di Milano.
Catrinel DUMITRU
Business StrategistCatrinel has worked as a strategy consultant or business coach with over 50 entrepreneurs or management teams. Recently, she helped a Romanian technology company raise more than € 1 mln. on the capital market and managed the company's investor relations. At Build21, Catrinel supports the management team in creating and planning the business strategy.
Eng. Sergiu SIMUȚ
Project Manager & CMSergiu is an expert project manager in real estate. In over 10 years of experience, he has successfully managed a series of residential, industrial, office and commercial construction projects. Sergiu graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Master of Project Management and Property Valuation, both at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. At Build21, Sergiu is the online community manager.
Rik BHATTACHARYA
ExpertRik is a tech industry veteran that brings together the digital and the real world through sustainable business solutions. He champions entrepreneurship and the power of shared purpose, working alongside ambitious entrepreneurs and empowered teams to deliver impact. He sits on the boards of businesses in Web3/Blockchain, Cleantech, Healthtech, and more.
Marius NEGREA
Brand Story DirectorIn his 25 years of advertising in local and international agencies, Marius has been a copywriter and creative director. The campaigns he designed or supervised for clients in a wide variety of fields have had visible results both in business figures and in the image of the respective brands. At Build21, Marius plays the role of Brand Story Director.
